Venus & Adonis... and the Rest of Us

Bask in the pleasures and perils of passion, brought to life in glorious music and song.

This tiny jewel of an English-language chamber opera features Venus, the goddess of love herself, her mortal boy toy Adonis, her trouble-making son Cupid, and a host of lovers and other strangers. Performed by student singers and instrumentalists from the University of Calgary’s Collegium Musicum. Running time approximately one hour.
